Government Services

Two distinct roles in the government contracting environment.

MGN performs project and program services for government and defense-related clients. Separately, MGN advises companies preparing to bring their own products and services into U.S. government and prime-contractor markets.

The client and the responsibility determine the engagement.

In one role, MGN is part of the project team and is responsible for defined planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, training or program work.

In the other, MGN advises a company on entering the government contracting environment with its own offering. Each practice has its own scope, responsibilities and contracting basis.

The work is organized under two distinct government-service practices.

01 · PERFORM THE WORK

Government Project Services

MGN is retained to perform defined work within a government contract, defense-related program or prime-contractor team.

  • Project and program planning
  • Procurement and supplier coordination
  • Installation and commissioning
  • Testing, training and transition
  • Contract performance and closeout support

Experience on both sides of the contracting environment.

MGN’s project experience informs its contracting advisory work. The company understands both the practical demands of performing government-related work and the preparation required before another organization is ready to pursue it.

The two practices remain separately defined so that the client, responsibility and intended result are clear from the beginning.

Domestic and international participation.

Government project work may involve domestic teams, foreign partners, cross-border delivery or personnel preparing for technical responsibilities in the United States.

Companies entering the contracting environment may require additional preparation for U.S. documentation, terminology, registrations, teaming relationships and performance expectations.
